So i've dragged my sorry, sun burned, summer loving, drunk ass out of lazy summer mode for a while to write some new songs. We're planning on recording a new e.p. very soon, and trying to collect ourselves long enough to throw together some new material for it. So far the new tunes are fucking rocking hard!!!! The plan is to spend a week or so in September laying this down, and having it done by the beginning of november....before christmas for sure. In any case I'm pretty stoked and the rest of the band is too. This will be the first studio experience for Mike, Johnny, and Tim as members of The Assassination, and my first of having the rest of the band perform on the recordings. We're going to be recording mostly at the new 308 Productions facility, but we may change locations as the production goes on. This e.p. will also include "Follow Me, Follow You" which has been part of our live set since last march, a live track with video(if it turns out), a cover, and at this point 2 new cuts. The way songs are shooting right now, maybe a couple more. Here's how the track listing looks as of today.

Maybe as many as 8 songs when it's all said and done, but no fewer than 5. Not sure about a title yet, but we're kicking a few ideas around. Look for a new full length album some time next year, and some live performances in the Vancouver area this fall! Don't forget to support your local music scene, and keep rock alive!
